Armenia rally from two down to stun Montenegro

Gevorg Ghazharyan struck deep into injury time as Armenia fought back from two goals down to grab a dramatic 3-2 win over Montenegro in World Cup qualifying group E.

The visitors looked set to maintain their place at the top of the group after two goals in as many first-half minutes from Damir Kojasevic and Stevan Jovetic, the latter a delightful chip after a defensive error, put them in control in Yerevan.

But Armenia, without a point from their three previous games in the group, reduced the deficit through Artak Grigoryan on 50 minutes before defender Varazdat Haroyan equalised 24 minutes later.

Hrayr Mkoyan brilliantly cleared Jovetic's effort off the line and Haroyan then teed up Ghazharyan, whose right-foot effort in the last seconds beat Montenegro keeper Mladen Bozovic from outside the box.
