East Stirling end losing streak with Berwick draw

Bottom side East Stirling claimed their first point from six games as they held Berwick to a goalless stalemate at Ochilview Park.
The away side had the best chance to get on the scoresheet in the opening exchanges but Darren Lavery's close-range effort that was heading for the bottom corner was held out by Darren Dolan.
Down at the other end, John Fraser sent his shot wide and Ross Fisher's header missed the target before Blair Henderson came close with two chances for the Black and Gold.
Lavery was again close to breaking the deadlock for the visitors after the break but sent his long-range effort wide before team-mate Jonathon Fairbairn's header sailed over the bar.
The Shire struck back with chances of their own through Michael McMullin and Kristopher Faulds but neither side was able to get a breakthrough as the spoils were shared.
