Manchester United's Anthony Martial out injured, leaves Old Trafford

MANCHESTER, England -- Anthony Martial has been left out of the Manchester United squad for their final Premier League game of the season against Watford after suffering an injury.

The Frenchman was on the bench for the 0-0 draw with West Ham at the London Stadium on Thursday and Jose Mourinho said after the game he would feature on the final day.

Sources have told ESPN FC the 22-year-old was at Old Trafford around three hours before the game against Watford but drove away from the stadium. United's in-house TV channel MUTV later confirmed he is injured.

Martial was been linked with a move away from United this summer amid interest from Juventus and Chelsea.

Sources have told ESPN FC that Martial has become frustrated at a lack of opportunities at the club and would consider a transfer if United indicate they are willing to sell.

Mourinho also left David De Gea, Nemanja Matic and Chris Smalling from his squad ahead of the FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley on May 19.
