Man City to face Liverpool, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund in International Champions Cup

Manchester City will face Borussia Dortmund, Liverpool and Bayern Munich in the United States this summer as part of the International Champions Cup.

The newly crowned Premier League champions will return to the U.S. in July after a successful 2017 summer tour.

City will kick off their preseason at Chicago's Soldier Field on July 20 with a friendly against Borussia Dortmund.

They then head to MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on July 25 to face Liverpool in a repeat of the Champions League quarterfinal earlier this month.

City wrap up their tour at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, on July 28 against Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich.

It will be the first time Pep Guardiola has faced the German club since he left at the end of the 2016 season after winning three titles in three years.

City played three matches in the U.S. last summer and after a successful trip have decided to return to play in the ICC again.

Sources have told ESPN FC that City will base themselves in New York, home of fellow City Football Group club New York City FC and the place where Guardiola spent 2012 on hiatus after leaving Barcelona.

Guardiola also has fond memories of Chicago, having played at Soldier Field twice in the 1994 World Cup for Spain and scoring a penalty in their 3-1 World Cup win over Bolivia.
