Manchester City defender Bacary Sagna says he has no idea where he will be playing his football next season. Sagna is one of seven players whose contracts expire at the end of June and the club are still to indicate whether he will get a new deal. The 34-year-old says he is open to extending his two-year stay at the Etihad Stadium but is still waiting to hear from the club what their plans are for next season. "Regarding my future, it's the end of my contract, so I'm open," he told reporters. "You know me, I will try to give my best every time I go to play. "I have had a strange season because of injuries. I came back from the Euros after a long season last season, and I just tried to learn what I could. "I learned a lot through the year and am very happy and glad I stayed another year here. There is no age to stop improving and I think I improved as a player and a person." The former Arsenal defender has been linked with a move back to London with Crystal Palace or West Ham United. Sagna was also linked with moves away in the summer but insists he glad he stayed at City for Pep Guardiola's first season and says he still has plenty offer. "As soon as I started the season after getting back from the Euros I wanted to be part of the team, and the project and I'm glad that I stayed until now," he added. "I don't have any regrets and have fully enjoyed the whole season. "I need a rest because it was a long season and I came back tired from the Euros. "I need to sort myself out and recover by working and having a normal preseason next season. But I feel good."
