Liverpool's Mohamed Salah equals Premier League record in draw vs. West Brom

Mohamed Salah equalled the record for the most goals in a 38-game Premier League season when he scored his 31st Premier League goal in Liverpool's 2-2 draw with West Bromwich Albion on Saturday.

Salah, who has scored 41 goals in all competitions and at least one in each of his last six games, scored Liverpool's second goal in the 72nd minute with a left-footed chip over goalkeeper Ben Foster after Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain put him through.

The favourite to be named the PFA Player of the Year on Sunday, Salah equalled a record held by Liverpool's Luis Suarez (2013-14), Manchester United's Cristiano Ronaldo (2007-08) and Blackburn Rovers' Alan Shearer (1995-96).

Salah, in his first season at Liverpool following a move from Roma in July, has three more games in which he can break the record.
