Leicester complete signing of Fousseni Diabate from Gazelec Ajaccio

Leicester City have completed the signing of talented Mali youth forward Fousseni Diabate from Ligue 2 side Gazelec Ajaccio.

The 22-year-old, who can play as a central striker and on either wing, has signed a four-and-a-half-year deal at King Power after the Foxes agreed an undisclosed fee.

A product of the Stade Rennais youth academy, Diabate has represented both Mali Under-20s and U23s. He represented his country at the Toulon tournament in 2016, which was eventually won by England.

Diabate has impressed for Ajaccio this term, making 20 appearances in all competitions since signing for the Corsican outfit in the summer after two seasons with Guingamp.

He becomes Leicester boss Claude Puel's second signing of the transfer window after Adrien Silva's £22 million move from Sporting Lisbon was finally ratified by FIFA.
