Juventus midfielder Sami Khedira has said he would not rule out a return to the Bundesliga but could play in another country first after his days in Serie A come to an end. Khedira has just over a year left to run on his contract and he recently said he would like to extend his stay, dismissing a mooted move to Major League Soccer. There were reports that he would return to the Bundesliga after he was seen with Bayern Munich president Uli Hoeness -- a meeting he said was about plans away from football. "The Bundesliga's a great league even if they have some problems at the moment, but it's very attractive," the Germany international told the SID news agency. "I've had a great time abroad and I'm always attracted by new challenges and things that I don't know yet; where you need to find yourself again with a new mentality, a new city, a new country. "I'm still relatively young and still have a few years to go but, having said that, I still wouldn't rule out a return to the Bundesliga." Khedira has added two Serie A titles to the two La Liga titles he won at Real Madrid and his Bundesliga crown with Stuttgart but said he expected this season's Serie A race to go down to the wire. "It's neck-and-neck between Napoli and us," he said. "The title race hasn't been this exciting in ages. "They're a point ahead so they're in pole position. We've got a strong team, not just 11 but 20 top players, and our advantage over Napoli is that we've won quite a few titles yet the hunger has not abated. "We desperately want the title -- our fans are craving it." Juve are also hoping to reach a third Champions League final in four years but face a tough challenge at Tottenham Hotspur after drawing the first leg 2-2 at home. "The chances are still 50/50. We didn't play a good game [in the first leg]," he said. "Tottenham played an extremely good game and were better than we were."
