Chivas players are upset at not receiving bonuses for winning Liga MX and Copa MX titles and for recent travel arrangements, according to ESPN Mexico, Record and other Mexican outlets.
The Guadalajara-based club plays the New York Red Bulls in CONCACAF Champions League play on Tuesday evening, but stories broke earlier in the day the players are less than satisfied with how things are going off the field.
ESPN Mexico reported that players are owed $165,000 USD each in prize money for winning the 2017 Clausura Liga MX and Copa MX.

The squad endured a journey of over 10 hours to get to New York for the game against the Red Bulls, enduring a long layover in Houston before getting a connecting flight, according to Record.
Leading Chivas players like Carlos Salcido, Isaac Brizuela, Rodolfo Cota, Oswaldo Alanis and Jair Pereira all retweeted Mexican journalist Ruben Rodriguez, whose post on Twitter indicate that the players were angry with the situation with bonuses, communication with the directors, travel logistics and even nutrition.
Chivas didn't immediately respond to an inquiry from ESPN FC about the veracity of the reports.
Chivas take a 1-0 lead into Tuesday's semifinal second leg against the Red Bulls, with the club looking to win its first continental trophy since 1962.
