Everton consider Porto coach Sergio Conceicao to replace Sam Allardyce - sources

Everton are among a number of clubs interested in Porto manager Sergio Conceicao, sources close to the coach have told ESPN FC.

Doubts continue to surround the long-term future of Sam Allardyce, who took over from Ronald Koeman in November and guided the club away from a relegation battle, but he remains unpopular with a section of the club's fans because of his style of play.

Conceicao, 43, has guided Porto to their first Portuguese title in five years in his first season at the club, and they also reached the Champions League round of 16 before losing to Liverpool.

Sources close to Conceicao said that the former Portugal winger has received approaches from clubs in England, Spain and Italy but that he has not made any decision on his future.

Former Watford manager Marco Silva and Shaktar Donetsk coach Paulo Fonseca have also been linked with Everton.
