Gor Mahia's CAF Confederation clash against SuperSport United will go ahead on Wednesday despite concerns, but will be without two key players after Ephrem Guikan and Jacques Tuyisenge were denied visas. On Tuesday, reports emerged that the Kenya Premier League champions would struggle to fulfill the fixture after applying late for visas to South Africa. However, Gor's CEO Ludovick Aduda has revealed to KweséESPN that the team have the green light to travel, even if they won't have a full complement of players at their disposal. "We are now set to travel on Tuesday evening after securing tickets from the Governor of Nairobi County," said Aduda. "Unfortunately the South African Embassy refused to give our players Guikan and Tuyisenge visas on grounds that their work permits are not valid for more than a year. "We have been trying hard to get all visas for all of the players the technical teams need, but the Embassy insisted that the work permits must be valid for at least one year and above. "The two players only have six months left." Rwanda international Tuyisenge netted the penalty that sunk SSU 1-0 in the Playoff first leg at the Kenyatta Stadium, Machakos last week, while Ivorian frontman Guikan also featured. Gor were originally meant to travel to Pretoria on Monday, but the trip was delayed because visas had not been secured. "The players and technical staff are in very high and good spirits to perform well in the return leg," added Aduda. Speaking to Gor's media team, K'Ogalo coach Dylan Kerr expressed quiet confidence that his side can get the job done in South Africa. "Every team is much comfortable playing at home and we know what to expect in South Africa but we shall need to go all out and look for early goals. "I like the fact that the pitch in Pretoria is very good and I hope my players will be able to express themselves well on a good surface. I believe we have worked hard and now know what to expect." Besides the two players who miss the trip because of visa issues, Kerr will also miss the services of midfielder Ernest Wendo who is suspended after accumulating two yellow cards.
