Ross McCormack to Central Coast Mariners
Former Scotland international McCormack may be offered an escape route from his stagnated Aston Villa career with a move to Australian side Central Coast Mariners, report the Express and Star. The 32-year-old impressed in Australia with 14 goals in 16 games while on loan at Melbourne City last season and could now join the recently-acquired Usain Bolt up front at the Mariners. McCormack's £45,000-per-week contract could pose a stumbling block but it's likely that Villa will do all they can to get the striker that hasn't featured since last September out the door one way or another.
Federico Chiesa to Inter Milan
Juventus and Inter Milan seem intent on battling it out for the signature of 20-year-old Fiorentina forward Chiesa, with the Nerazzurri in pole position at the moment. The young talent can play on the right, left or as a lone striker and would be an ideal addition to Luciano Spalletti's side. According to Tuttosport, his father, former Italy striker Enrico Chiesa, is well aware that his son has a better chance of becoming an icon in Milan rather than Turin, where he believes the young forward can help challenge Juventus' stranglehold over Serie A.
Anthony Martial to Juventus
Juventus have high hopes of adding Martial to their growing list of top talent snatched up for free, report CalcioMercato, when the French forward moves in to the final six months of his Manchester United contract in January. However, the English club have every intention of keeping the 21-year-old by offering him a long-term deal worth around €10 million a year that would make him a key figure in their future plans -- with or without the continued presence of Jose Mourinho.
Alban Lafont to Inter Milan
Inter Milan may have finally found a long-term replacement for goalkeeper Samir Handanovic, with their intentions firmly set on Fiorentina shot-stopper Lafont, according to CalcioMercato. However, the 19-year-old only joined the Serie A side this summer from Toulouse and it's unlikely they would be willing to part with their new signing so soon. If they were to sell in January or next summer it will most likely be for far more than the €7m they spent a few months ago.
Julian Draxler to Bayern Munich
Draxler has done little to dispel rumours linking him with a move to Bayern Munich. The Germany international has been on the club's radar for much of his career, but after a tepid start to life at PSG under new coach Thomas Tuchel -- no starts in the club's first five games -- the 24-year-old has suggested that he "would neither categorically say no" to the possibility of a move back to Germany, while adding "nor would I drop everything." Niko Kovac already has ideal wide players in Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman, but will have undoubtedly begun planning for life without Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery in the years to come. Which is where Draxler could fill in.
