Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid

Madrid are reportedly considering launching a last-minute deadline day deal for Mbappe, should PSG fall foul of UEFA's Financial Fair Play regulations. Madrid president Florentino Perez still wants to make a marquee addition in this transfer window and Mbappe is a long-term target. AS detail how PSG must pay Monaco €180m on Monday to turn his loan move into a permanent, but with UEFA's investigation into their finances concluding on Aug. 30 they may be forced to sell to avoid serious financial punishment and maybe further sanctions.

Raphael Guerreiro to Paris Saint-Germain

Thomas Tuchel is determined to add a left-back to his Paris Saint-Germain squad before the Ligue 1 deadline and has spoken to sporting director Antero Henrique over the possibility of bringing Guerriero to Paris. Tuchel signed Guerreiro when he was Borussia Dortmund manager and remains an admirer of the Portugal international. According to Paris United, Henrique is trying to package together a deal of €15m plus young French full-back Stanley N'Soki, although the 19-year-old would reportedly prefer to stay in Paris.

Fabian Delph to Besiktas

Turkish giants Besiktas continue to look to the Premier League as they seek to bolster their squad. With Liverpool keeper Loris Karius set to arrive in Istanbul on a two-season loan, Manchester City midfielder Fabian Delph has also emerged as a target. A Spor report that Besiktas board member Ali Naibi has met with City sporting director Txiki Begiristain over the possibility of signing Delph on loan as the England international may struggle for first-team football in Manchester.

James Rodriguez to Real Madrid

Thibaut Courtois remains the only big-name arrival at Real Madrid this summer and, according to El Pais, the Spanish giants are growing restless at their lack of summer activity. So much so they could "sign" Rodriguez, who is currently halfway through a two-year loan deal with Bayern Munich. The Bavarians have yet to take up their permanent option on the Colombian playmaker and if Real are to bring Rodriguez back to the Bernabeu they will offer a large compensation figure, reportedly €35m, to bring him back early.

Anthony Martial to Sevilla

Martial has reportedly been offered escape route from United by Sevilla, with the Andalusian club keen to sign an attacking player before the end of the month. Marca claim Sevilla are weighing up the availability of Martial, along with PSG's Julian Draxler and Iago Falque of Torino, although may only be able to commit to a loan deal which may not suit United. Martial started United's last Premier League game against Brighton but delivered an indistinct performance and his relationship with manager Jose Mourinho is clearly strained.
