Transfer Rater: Anthony Martial to AC Milan, Christian Eriksen to Paris Saint-Germain

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the Whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Anthony Martial to AC Milan

Martial has emerged as a target for Milan, who are keen to make a marquee summer signing before the transfer window closes across Europe, according to La Repubblica. Martial is reportedly unhappy at Manchester United, having fallen out of favour with Jose Mourinho, which contributed to the Frenchman not making Les Bleus' World Cup squad. Martial's agent earlier this summer claimed the winger is keen to leave Old Trafford. The 22-year-old was an unused substitute in United's 2-1 win over Leicester on Friday night.

Danny Rose to Paris Saint-Germain

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is willing to let Rose leave the club despite not being able to sign a replacement until January. While Schalke have expressed interest, PSG are thought to be heading the queue for the £50m-rated England international. Rose, 28, was left out of the Spurs squad as his teammates beat Newcastle 2-1 at St James' Park on Saturday. Ben Davies has firmly established himself as Pochettino's first-choice left-back and Rose may be forced to move away from the Premier League for regular football.

Christian Eriksen to Paris Saint-Germain

Meanwhile, the French champions are also plotting a big-money move for Eriksen, according to The Express. The 26-year-old playmaker is yet to sign a new contract with Spurs and has also been linked in recent weeks with a move to Real Madrid. However, PSG are desperate to break new ground in the Champions League under new boss Thomas Tuchel. Despite already having Neymar and Kylian Mbappe, the Ligue 1 side have been linked with Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele and are apparently willing to splash £100m to secure Eriksen's services.

Mohamed Elneny to Marseille

Elneny may be on his way out of Arsenal with Marseille set to tempt the Egyptian with a move to France. The Mirror say the French side are hoping to capitalise on the 26-year-old's uncertain situation at the Emirates following the arrivals of Lucas Torreira and Matteo Guendouzi. Elneny has struggled to nail down a regular starting place since his move from Basel in 2015 and may be open to a new challenge. While he signed a new contract in March, the fact that he was an unused substitute in Arsenal's 2-0 defeat to Manchester City on Sunday suggests Unai Emery would not stand in the midfielder's way.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek to Schalke

Loftus-Cheek is set to resist interest from Schalke, who want to take the England international to the Bundesliga on loan as a replacement for Max Meyer, according to The Telegraph. Despite the arrival of Mateo Kovacic from Real Madrid, Loftus-Cheek is determined to fight for a starting place under Maurizio Sarri, having impressed during his season-long loan at Crystal Palace. However, the 22-year-old has work to do as Jorginho and N'Golo Kante are ahead of him in the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.
