          Transfer Talk: Jack Wilshere announces Arsenal exit upon Bernd Leno arrival

          Wilshere announces Arsenal exit as Leno arrives

          It's been a busy day at Arsenal, with one 26-year-old star arriving at the Emirates, and another announcing his departure.

          The Gunners announced Monday evening that former Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno had joined the club. The six-cap Germany international had been linked with a move to North London for weeks, but his arrival was finally confirmed earlier in the day.

          Arsenal are now expected one of their current crop of goalkeepers, Petr Cech and David Ospina, though which one will leave the Emirates is not yet known.

          Not long after Leno's confirmation, midfielder Jack Wilshere posted to Instagram thanking Arsenal fans, saying that he'd be leaving the club upon the expiration of his contract at the end of the month. West Ham, Wolves, Southampton and AC Milan have all been linked with a move for the Gunners' academy product.

          Which brings us to the London Evening Standard's report stating that the North London side "are confident of securing Sampdoria midfielder Lucas Torreira," however Arsenal "are reluctant to unduly disrupt [his] preparation for Uruguay's remaining group fixtures" at the World Cup. Which suggests that the Gunners' wait for Wilshere's replacement will go on just a little bit longer.

          19.58 BST: It's a DONE DEAL! West Ham have confirmed the signing of Toulouse defender Issa Diop to a five-year contract, on an undisclosed but club-record deal.

          19.06 BST: Marseille are interested in bringing in 28-year-old Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, talkSPORT cites France Football as reporting.

          18.14 BST: Manchester City expect to complete the signing of 26-year-old midfielder and Italian international Jorginho from Napoli this week in a £46.5 million deal, Sky in Italy reports.

          17.16 BST: Outgoing Juventus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon is expected to complete his move to Paris Saint-Germain in the coming days, according to Sky in Italy.

          16:24 BST: DONE DEAL -- Leeds United have announced that goalkeeper Felix Wiedwald has completed a permanent move to Eintracht Frankfurt after just one season.

          Wiedwald, 28, spent the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons at Eintracht before moving to Werder Bremen and then to Leeds.

          15:10 BST: Hirving Lozano, who scored the goal in Mexico's 1-0 World Cup win against Germany on Sunday, could succeed in England, according to coach Juan Carlos Osorio.

          Lozano, 22, moved to PSV Eindhoven from Pachuca a year ago.

          "I think he will be able to -- and he has the tools to play -- in the Premier League," Osorio told Sky Sports.

          14:40 BST: James Maddison's move from Norwich City to Leicester City will be finalised on Tuesday, according to Sky Sports.

          Maddison, the England under-21 international, will move in a deal worth £22 million plus add-ons.

          13.35 BST: Huddersfield have made Club Brugge a £13 million offer for winger Anthony Limbombe, according to the Mail.

          13.15 BST: Negotiations between Paris Saint-Germain, Roma and West Ham United over a potential move for Javier Pastore are under way, a source has told ESPN FC. Pastore has been at PSG for seven years.

          12.45 BST: Roma have told Chelsea and Inter Milan that they can sign midfielder Radja Nainggolan if they pay £35 million, talkSPORT, citing reports in Italy, has said.

          12.00 BST: Sunderland goalkeeper Jason Steele is close to a move to the Premier League, the Chronicle reports, saying the Black Cats "have agreed to sell him to an unnamed club."

          11.35 BST: AS, citing reports in Turkey, says Galatasaray could sign striker Fernando Torres, still without a club after leaving Atletico Madrid.

          11.15 BST: The London Evening Standard reports that senior Chelsea players "are growing increasingly concerned that the club have yet to make any summer signings" as uncertainty continues to surround the future of coach Antonio Conte.

          10.45 BST: Barcelona "have made contact with Miralem Pjanic's representatives over a possible move to the Camp Nou," the Mail reports. It says that Juventus midfielder Pjanic is "Plan B" after Antoine Griezmann decided to stay at Atletico Madrid.

          10.15 BST -- DONE DEAL: Wigan defender Craig Morgan has joined Joey Barton's Fleetwood Town on a two-year deal.

          10.00 BST: L'Equipe reports that Vincent Pajot will leave Saint-Etienne to join Angers. The 27-year-old midfielder, who had a year left on his deal, is expected to sign a three-year contract.

          09.45 BST: Nabil Fekir's agent has told French TV the Lyon midfielder's transfer to Liverpool "is not finished."

          Earlier this month, a Liverpool source told ESPN FC the club were confident of sealing a €60 million deal for the France midfielder, but talks were then called off.

          09.30 BST: Javier Pastore is in talks with Roma and could join them as soon as Friday, L'Equipe reports. It says he will leave Paris Saint-Germain after seven years in a €20 million deal.

          09.15 BST: To Germany, where Wolfsburg are close to signing 30-year-old LASK Linz keeper Pavao Pervan and are also keen on Stuttgart attacker Daniel Ginczek, according to reports.

          09.00 BST: Liverpool's search for a new goalkeeper goes on, with the Mirror reporting that they have "stepped up their interest in Nick Pope." It says Burnley and England keeper Pope, who would cost around £18 million, "is the latest stopper under consideration by the Anfield side in their search for a new No.1."

          08.30 BST: Bad news for Chelsea, potentially -- Cadena Ser reports that Real Madrid are turning their focus back to goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois because they believe they could sign him for around €40 million, half what Roma want for Allisson.

          08.15 BST: Valencia have turned down an €18m offer from Napoli for Spanish striker Santi Mina, according to Superdeporte. Mina scored 15 goals and set up four more in 38 appearances in all competitions for Valencia last season, and this is the second offer Valencia have rejected from Napoli for the 22-year-old.

          Liverpool to ask £15 million for Sturridge amid Sevilla interest

          Sevilla are back in for Liverpool striker Daniel Sturridge -- but the Champions League finalists won't let him go on the cheap, the Telegraph reports.

          It says Liverpool "want £15m for Sturridge," who is also interesting Turkish side Fenerbahce, and the 28-year-old "will return to preseason training under no illusions as to where he stands in the pecking order behind the established front three."

          He spent an injury-hit second half of last season on loan at West Brom, where he was unable to help the Baggies avoid relegation, and Liverpool "are open to offers."

          Spurs to make Villa sweat over Grealish

          Tottenham will keep an anxious Aston Villa waiting over their move for midfielder Jack Grealish, according to the Mirror.

          Spurs are "set to keep Villa sweating as they bid to exploit their cash woes," with the Midlanders needing to raise money and keen to rake in £40m for Grealish.

          Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino "wants Grealish to compete with Dele Alli," but the Londoners are ready to play a long game for the 22-year-old.

          The Mirror says Spurs "are not rushing to bid big and may wait to see how Villa cope at the end of the month, when they are due to pay all their staff."

          -- Everton are not in the running for Hannover striker Niclas Fullkrug despite reports in Germany claiming a £19m offer has been tabled, the Liverpool Echo reports.

          It says that, despite a widespread search for new faces, no bid for 25-year-old Fullkrug has been tabled, "and there is no interest at this stage."

          -- Brighton are set to abandon attempts to sign Sunderland midfielder Paddy McNair after Championship side Middlesbrough had a bid of more than £5m accepted, the Chronicle reports.

          It says Brighton do not want to become involved in an "auction," and although they had been expected to table another offer, they now appear unlikely to do so.
