Transfer Talk: Jean Michael Seri part of Chelsea's summer spending spree

Clubs are slowly turning their eyes toward the summer window. Transfer Talk has updates on all the latest rumours.

Chelsea plan big summer spend

Roman Abramovich has ordered senior figures at Chelsea to push ahead with transfer plans this summer despite uncertainty over who will be manager next season, with Antonio Conte largely rumoured to be leaving the club.

Jean Michael Seri is a long-standing target, and the Blues could mount a £30 million offer for the Nice midfielder, reports the Mirror.

Barcelona, Arsenal and Liverpool have all been linked with the Ivorian over the past year, but Chelsea have emerged as favourites.

If Conte is not in charge, then Napoli's Maurizio Sarri, Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and Luis Enrique are all in the running to take over at Stamford Bridge and will have no shortage of funds at their disposal to retool for the upcoming campaign.

West Ham join Evans race

West Ham have joined the race to sign Jonny Evans from West Brom, with the Northern Ireland captain certain to leave the Hawthorns with relegation a formality.

The Mirror also claims Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Leicester and Everton are in the running with the Hammers for the 30-year-old's signature.

Manchester City and Arsenal, who previously attempted to sign the former Manchester United defender in the past two windows, have now moved on to other targets.

Rose and Alderweireld to head £170m Spurs exodus

Tottenham are preparing a £170m sale of four key players this summer to help Mauricio Pochettino bolster his squad.

Danny Rose, Toby Alderweireld, Mousa Dembele and Victor Wanyama will all leave this summer, reports the Mail.

Dembele's contract has only a year to go, meaning Spurs can only recoup around £20m, while Rose, Alderweireld and Wanyama are all expected to fetch about £50m each.

Pochettino will need to re-jig his squad after seeing his side fall short in the title race and in the FA Cup and Champions League whilst pursuing his first trophy in charge.

Arsenal enter Leno chase

Arsenal will compete for Bayer Leverkusen goalkeeper Bernd Leno this summer, with Bild claiming the Gunners, Napoli and Atletico Madrid are all in the running.

The report suggests Atletico could be preparing to sell Jan Oblak, who has a £87m release clause and turned in a stellar performance in goal for his team in their Europa League semifinal first-leg draw against Arsenal on Thursday.

The Gunners have endured problems between the sticks with Petr Cech and David Ospina both unable to avoid key mistakes.

Leverkusen will sign Eintracht Frankfurt shot-stopper Lukas Hradecky, while Leno has a release clause himself worth £17.5m that a number of clubs will likely be happy to pay.

Tap-ins

- Barcelona's French contingent of Lucas Digne, Samuel Umtiti and Ousmane Dembele have all been attempting to persuade Antoine Griezmann to join them at the Nou Camp.

The Atletico Madrid star has been closely linked with the Blaugrana and Sport claims the French players are actively trying to convince Griezmann to pick Barca.

- While Griezmann could join, one exit from the Catalan club will almost certainly be Andres Iniesta, with Marca claiming an announcement over a move to China will take place on Friday.

The legendary Spaniard's new club is not confirmed, but Chinese Super League club Chongqing Dangdai Lifan are expected to sign the 33-year-old.

- Former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique wants a £200m to spend in the transfer window to take over at Arsenal this summer once Arsene Wenger leaves.

The Sun reports that the Spaniard wants the Gunners to match Wenger's £9m salary after his one-year hiatus from the game since leaving Barcelona.

Radja Nainggolan will be one of his primary targets after the Belgian's fine season with Roma.
