Transfer Rater: Paul Pogba to Real Madrid, Ousmane Dembele to Arsenal

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Thorgan Hazard to Leicester City

The brother of Chelsea star Eden Hazard told Sport Magazine in Belgium: "England is appealing, but when you speak to players who play there, they also tell you that Germany seems like a great league. We have the best stadiums, the best infrastructures. The atmosphere is also 'hotter' than in England." Hazard, 24, was linked with Chelsea last summer but remained in Germany and has seven goals and four assists for Borussia Monchengladbach this term, prompting interest from Leicester, according to German outlet HLN.

Felipe Anderson to Chelsea

Long linked with a move to the Premier League, Lazio star Anderson has endured a tough season with the Serie A side, making just one top-flight start to date. He has not been helped by injury or coach Simone Inzaghi's use of a 3-5-2 system. The 24-year-old Brazilian, who can play behind the main forward or lead the line, has managed just 218 minutes of action, scoring two and assisting two. According to Il Messaggero, Chelsea will rescue Anderson from the Lazio bench this summer.

Paul Pogba to Real Madrid

After being hauled off by Jose Mourinho in each of his last two starts for Manchester United, club-record signing Pogba finds himself under greater scrutiny than ever. The Frenchman has struggled to live up to his £89.3m price-tag and Mourinho's patience appears to be wearing thin. Pogba has reportedly demanded a change of role and tactics and according to The Sun, Real Madrid could take the 24-year-old off United's hands for around £120m. Manchester United have no intention of selling the midfielder, however.

Issa Diop to Tottenham

According to a report in Spanish paper Mundo Deportivo, Toulouse captain Diop is attracting interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid as well as North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal. Only 21, the commanding centre-back has been a regular for Toulouse for the last three seasons and is a big personality in the dressing room. He has represented France all the way up to under-21 level and the expectation is he will break into Didier Deschamps' senior squad in the near future. Both Tottenham and Arsenal could do with added centre-back depth but Mauricio Pochettino's need could be greater if Toby Alderweireld departs this summer.

Ousmane Dembele to Arsenal

Dembele's maiden season with Barcelona has not gone to plan. The French teenager became the world's second most expensive player when he moved to the Camp Nou in a €105m deal to replace Neymar last summer. A hamstring injury in September ruled him out for four months and just a fortnight after making his return, he is currently laid low with a new hamstring complaint. Barcelona are expected to strengthen their forward line with the signing of former Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann this summer and Arsenal could pounce for Dembele who, according to the Daily Express, would cost around £135m.
