Man Utd, Liverpool, Bayern locked in battle for Christian Pulisic's signature

The January window might have just shut, but Transfer Talk still has the updates on all the latest rumours and done deals.

Three-way battle for U.S. midfielder Pulisic

It has long seemed inevitable that Borussia Dortmund's Christian Pulisic would be in demand come the summer, and the Sun reports that three clubs will scrap for his signature.

United States midfielder Pulisic, 19, is coveted by Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, Liverpool and Manchester United.

That trio, the Sun says, "are in fierce competition" -- but Liverpool "have been heavily linked with him and remain favourites to make a move."

After banking huge money from the sale of Philippe Coutinho to Barcelona, Liverpool will have significant funds available, but reports in Germany suggest either Bayern or United could yet thwart them.

Morata a surprise summer target for PSG?

Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata has been struggling of late -- but is there really a possibility that he could leave Stamford Bridge after just one season?

The Sun says there is, and adds that his next destination could be Paris Saint-Germain.

Former Real Madrid striker Morata has reportedly been identified as a "main summer target" by PSG sporting director Antero Henrique.

But the report adds that "it would take a huge offer to tempt Chelsea into selling, considering they splashed out £60 million on Morata just six months ago."

New Ramsey deal 'could cost Arsenal'

Arsenal are keen to wrap up a new contract for Aaron Ramsey, hat trick hero in Saturday's 5-1 win over Everton, but the Mirror reports that doing so "could cost them more after Mesut Ozil's mega-deal."

Wales international Ramsey is into the last 18 months of his existing terms at the Emirates Stadium and the Gunners "have made moves" on a new contract.

But the paper says they "effectively moved the goalposts on contracts with the £350,000-a-week, three-year deal for Ozil" that kept the Germany playmaker in North London.

If talks stall, the report adds that Ramsey has attracted interest from clubs in Spain -- but Arsene Wenger has made it clear he wants the midfielder to stay.

Meanwhile, Arsenal and Liverpool are set to be involved in a race for one of the Bundesliga's most highly-rated players.

TalkSPORT says both "have agreed to meet the £28m release clause for Hoffenheim midfielder Kerem Demirbay."

Demirbay, 24, has become a mainstay for Hoffenheim since arriving in 2016 and has been called up by Germany coach Joachim Low.

His form has sparked interest from other Bundesliga clubs as well as several in the Premier League, but the Gunners and Liverpool are reported to have held talks with his agent.
