          Man Utd target Alexis Sanchez hints there's 'No Easy Way Out' of Arsenal

          Sanchez posts cryptic private jet video

          We are now only hours away from Alexis Sanchez becoming a Manchester United player, in swap deal with Henrikh Mkhitaryan at Arsenal.

          Sanchez has been eager to get away from the Emirates for months now, with a move to Manchester City falling through on deadline day in August.

          But just how desperate has be been to leave Arsenal? Well going by his Instagram post on Sunday morning it can't come soon enough.

          The Chile international put up a video of him boarding a private jet in the snow, with a backing track of "No Easy Way Out" by Robert Tepper -- a little-known song from Rocky IV.

          22.57 GMT: Updating one from earlier, reports out of Anfield claim that Daniel Sturridge would prefer a move to La Liga side Sevilla.

          The sparesley used striker has been linked with Inter Milan and Roma among others and seems likely to depart Anfield this month. Sturridge has been out of favour since Jurgen Klopp arrived but the 28-year-old can be useful when healthy, evident from his 21-goal season in 2013-14.

          22.45 GMT: Seattle Sounders defender Roman Torres is close to agreeing to a contract extension with the club. Speaking at MLS Media Day, the player said the deal is "very close" and that he hopes '"to stay here in MLS for many more years."

          The Panamanian has been a lynchpin of Seattle's defense and won MLS Cup with the Sounders in 2016.

          22.30 GMT: After weeks of back and forth, Bayern Munich have confirmed to ESPN FC they will NOT be signing Leon Goretzka during the January transfer. window.

          Goretzka will reportedly join Bayern in the summer but the reigning champions were hoping to bring the youngster in earlier if Schalke would allow it.

          22.13 GMT: It's finally happening! Alexis Sanchez looks to be set to become an Manchester United player.

          This photo appears to show the Chilean being photographed at Old Trafford in a Man United kit.

          After months of speculation it finally looks like we have a deal. Sources have told ESPN FC to expect Sanchez to be unveiled officially very soon.

          21.55 GMT: Crystal Palace have agreed in principle to sign Poland international defender Jaroslaw Jach, according to Sky sources.

          The 23-year old currently plays his football in his native Poland with Zaglebie Lubin.

          21.30 GMT: LAFC are close to a very important signing ahead of their debut season in MLS. ESPN FC's Jeff Carlisle tweets that the club are close to finalising a deal for a goalkeeper Luis Lopez.

          The Honduras international comes to the expansion club from Honduras' Real Espana and is expected to contend with Tyler Miller for the No. 1 shirt.

          21.05 GMT: Norwich City are close to adding a midfielder according to reports out of Scotland. The Canaries are reportedly close to signing Aberdeen midfielder Kenny McLean.

          McLean is expected to sign a three-year contract but won't join the Canaries until the summer, as he will likely finish the season at Aberdeen on loan.

          20.45 GMT: Once heavily linked with Tottenham full-back Danny Rose, Jose Mourinho and Man United look to be happy with the full-back options they have at the moment.

          The biggest reason talk has cooled on Rose to United is the play of Luke Shaw. Shaw's recent uptick in form and Mourinho's comments lead one to believe that Rose won't be coming to Old Trafford after all.

          "I can say that in this moment I don't see many left-backs better than this Luke Shaw", said Mourinho ahead of Saturday's clash at Burnley. It looks like Rose and Shaw could both be staying put, something that would have seemed unlikely just a few months ago.

          20.25 GMT: Stoke have a history of going for players who come through the academies of the 'top clubs', see Mame Diouf, Bojan Krkic and Ibrahim Afellay for instance.

          NYCFC forward Jack Harrison could be the latest. Harrison, who played at the academies of both Liverpool and Man United is being linked with a return home to Stoke-on-Trent. The Daily Mail understands that the Potters have bid £3.25 million for the talented youngster.

          The 21-year-old Englishman played college in the United States at Wake Forest and has scored 14 goals for NYCFC over the past two seasons in MLS.

          20.00 GMT: Real Madrid's Gareth Bale has been the subject of a possible move away from the Bernabeu in recent windows, but his form of late -- including a double in a 7-1 win against Depor today -- has turned fans' jeers to cheers and silenced any talk of a transfer.

          19.35 GMT: Much of the talk surrounding a possible Emre Can departure from Liverpool has centred around a move to Juventus, but the Express quotes reports in Spain that suggest Real Madrid are also interested in the 24-year-old Germany international.

          19.12 GMT: A bit of managerial news here as Watford have wasted no time finding a new manager after sacking manager Marco Silva on Sunday and appearing to blame Everton in part for the move. Javi Gracia takes over on an 18-month deal.

          18.51 GMT: West Ham have rejected a £14m bid from Swansea to bring Andre Ayew back to Wales, according to Sky Sports. Ayew only just joined the Hammers from Swans in the summer of 2016 for £20.5m.

          18:14 GMT: We all know it's not going to happen, but we offer up the latest iteration of a Cristiano Ronaldo return to Man United from the Express if only to share this boot to the face the Portuguese took during Real Madrid's 7-1 thrashing of Depor today.

          17.44 GMT: An interesting one for fans of the U.S. national team here with the Metro reporting that Emerson Hyndman is considering a move to MLS. The American youth international, who has seen limited playing with Bournemouth this season, has also been linked with a possible return to Rangers on loan.

          17.23 GMT: According to the Daily Mail, Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is keen to make a loan move for Everton striker Sandro Ramirez. The former Malaga player has not had many opportunities for game time at Goodison Park and the Magpies are willing to pay £2m to bring him to Tyneside.

          16.51 GMT: We've heard about quite a bit about Arsenal today, well now a bit more. The Gunners are ready to loan out young midfielder Ben Sheaf, sources close to club tell ESPN FC.

          16.19 GMT: More now on Chelsea's transfer links. The club are confident of clinching a double deal for Roma duo Edin Dzeko and Emerson Palmieri, sources close to the club have told ESPN FC.

Asked about his desire to move to the Premier League, he said: "Yes, it's a dream. It's a dream for all players and for me it's no different. But as long as I'm here, I have to do my job well."

          13.59 GMT: Swansea might be bottom of the Premier League, but boss Carlos Carvalhal doesn't think the club needs to sign players this month. "One-hundred percent we can stay up without signing anyone," Carvalhal said ahead of Liverpool's visit on Monday. "It is my job to push everyone. If the thing is still progressing, and we can get the injured players recovered, we can create belief and commitment and fight to the end."

          Serie A giants battle for Sturridge

          Roma and Inter will go head-to-head for the signature of Daniel Sturridge, reports Corriere dello Sport.

          The Liverpool striker has been out of favour under Jurgen Klopp and is eager to secure a January move to salvage his World Cup dream.

          The Giallorossi and Nerazzurri, who meet in a mouthwatering clash in the league on Sunday with both competing for a Champions League spot, will make offers for the 28-year-old.

          Roma have entered the race after interest emerged from Chelsea for star striker Edin Dzeko, whom they are prepared to sell high on at nearly 32 years of age, but not until a replacement is secured.

          That's unlikely Emerson Palmieri, who is on his way out and will join the Blues as competition for Marcos Alonso at left wing-back.

          Gunners ready to strike Auba deal

          Arsenal have been told what it will take to sign Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with Borussia Dortmund holding out for £55 million, reports the Express.

          The Gunners have already bid £45m for the Gabonese striker, which was rejected by the Bundesliga giants.

          But a second bid could come close to the asking price, which would break their current club record of £47m paid for Alexandre Lacazette last summer.

          Pogba demands huge pay rise

          Paul Pogba will demand Man United double his wages, according to the Mirror, once Alexis Sanchez completes his move to Old Trafford.

          The Arsenal star is set to pocket a basic wage of £400,000-per-week and with Pogba well short of that on £200,000-per-week, United may have a problem.

          Having proven himself to be instrumental to Jose Mourinho's side with nine Premier League assists -- just one behind Kevin De Bruyne and Leroy Sane despite an extended period out through injury -- the Red Devils will have little option but to satisfy the French superstar.

          Despite three years remaining on his deal, with United possessing an option to extend it by a further year, United are aware of the need to hold on to the 24-year-old throughout his prime years.

          Roma eye Darmian

          Roma want to sign Manchester United's out-of-favour full-back Matteo Darmian, but the Mirror reports they only want a loan deal.

          The Italian could prove a useful short-term replacement for Palmier, who appears to be on his way to Chelsea.

          His versatility to play on both the right and left also make him an attractive target, though their reluctance to offer a permanent deal could see another club win out for the former Torino star.

          AC Milan and Valencia are keen, while Juventus could also be in the running, with the Red Devils eyeing a £4m profit on the £13m they paid back in 2015.

          Tap-ins

          - Arsenal have been alerted to a £3m release clause in Jonny Evans' contract, report the Star.

          The Baggies could lose the Northern Ireland international this summer if they are relegated, which could give an edge to the Gunners in negotiations this month.

          - The Star also report that Valencia are keen to take advantage of Juan Mata's expiring contract.

          United have yet to extend the Spaniard's deal and with Jose Mourinho unable to give the former Chelsea star a starting role, a return to the Mestalla could be an option.

          - Southampton will begin splashing the £75m banked from selling Virgil van Dijk to Liverpool by targeting Quincy Promes and Guido Carrillo, reports the Telegraph.

          Saints are eager to spend big as a sign of their ambition, despite losing their defensive stalwart to the Reds, with Monaco striker Carrillo and Spartak Moscow winger Promes top of their targets this month.
