PSG have £10m 'incentive' for Alexis; Everton want Carroll to replace Lukaku

Deadline day has come and gone, and all the latest deals and potential deals can be found here, but there's plenty brewing in the market as clubs begin to look toward January.

PSG have £10m 'incentive' for Alexis

Alexis Sanchez may not have got his desired move away from Arsenal in the summer, but with his contract at the Emirates Stadium due to expire next year, he's free to sign a pre-contract deal with foreign clubs in January.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are all chasing him -- as well as Manchester City and Chelsea in England -- but the Daily Express is claiming that PSG has a leg up as they pull out all the stops to get their man.

The Ligue 1 club will apparently offer the Chile international a £10 million "welcome" bonus if he signs a deal with them in January.

PSG are prepared to offer Sanchez a sweetener given they failed to persuade him to join in the summer, despite offering him £275,000-a-week and a large up-front payment.

Everton lining up £20m January offer for Carroll

Everton are targeting Andy Carroll as the man to finally replace Romelu Lukaku as their star striker, reports The Sun.

Everton failed to land a replacement for Lukaku in the summer despite receiving £75m for his services from Manchester United and spending a bucket-load of cash on improving other areas of the squad.

Ronald Koeman wants Carroll to fill that void and is set to offer West Ham £20m in January to bring him back to Merseyside.

The former Liverpool man has 18 months left on his deal at the London Stadium and West Ham may be prepared to listen to offers if the price is right.

Costa joining Atletico on an initial loan

According to The Times, Atletico Madrid's £57.5m deal to sign Diego Costa will involve the striker joining the club on an initial loan for the rest of the season before joining permanently.

Atletico had been concerned about being in breach of financial fair play regulations and so did not want to pay Chelsea for Costa during the present fiscal year.

With Chelsea happy to comply in order to move on the unsettled Costa and receive more money in the long run, a deal was put in place that sees the Premier League side receive a £5m fee for the loan, before getting the first instalment of the rest of the cash in July when the move becomes permanent.

Tap-ins:

- Former Arsenal defender Emmanuel Eboue has made his return to football by signing for Cypriot side Turk Ocagi Limassol, says The Sun.

Eboue, who had been serving a one-year ban for failing to pay a former agent, has signed a 12-month contract with the club.

- Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta has revealed the Italian champions made a bid for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can in the summer, though they won't be returning with a new offer in January.

"We don't think we are going to make a big signing in January," he told Premium Sport. "We made an offer for [Can] in the summer but the Reds didn't sell him so I don't think they'll change their mind in the middle of the season."
