Arsenal and Real Madrid join Liverpool and Tottenham in chase for Pulisic

Deadline day has come and gone, and all the latest deals and potential deals can be found here, but there's plenty brewing in the market as clubs begin to look toward January.

Pulisic in demand

Christian Pulisic is being tracked by several of Europe's biggest clubs following an impressive start to the season, reports the Sun.

The 19-year-old has helped Borussia Dortmund to the top of the Bundesliga after six matches, featuring in every game so far and claiming two goals and one assist.

Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham are all keen on the U.S. international, while Real Madrid have also expressed an interest.

Pulisic dismissed talk of a transfer last summer, but the race for his signature is expected to heat up during the course of the season.

Ronaldo eyes big bucks

Cristiano Ronaldo has demanded €25 million a year after taxes from Real Madrid to commit his future to the club, according to Portuguese outlet A Bola.

There was talk of the forward leaving the Bernabeu in the summer amid an investigation of alleged tax evasion, but Ronaldo refuted that suggestion earlier this week.

With his current deal expiring in 2021, the 32-year-old is looking for a final payday and wants parity with Lionel Messi's new deal at Barcelona, the report claims.

It's said that Real Madrid are reluctant to meet those demands, however, which means Ronaldo's future could be set to hog the headlines once again.

No Mario for Arsenal

Arsenal's hopes of swapping Mesut Ozil for Joao Mario in January have been dashed by Inter Milan, claims Calciomercato.

With Ozil's contract expiring at the end of the season and the playmaker unlikely to sign an extension, Arsenal reportedly sounded out Inter about an exchange for Mario, who has recorded three assists in three Serie A starts this season.

The 24-year-old played a key role for Portugal in their European Championship victory in 2016 but looks set to stay at the San Siro after Inter rebuffed the Gunners' approach.

Man United target Nainggolan

Radja Nainggolan is a target for Manchester United, reports the Sun, after Jose Mourinho sent scouts to check up on the midfielder in Roma's recent Champions League clash with Atletico Madrid.

The report states that Mourinho sees the Belgian as an ideal replacement for Michael Carrick, although considering that Carrick has made just one appearance this season, you could say he has already been replaced.

Nainggolan is also on Antonio Conte's shortlist at Chelsea, but the Italian has struggled to prise the 29-year-old from Roma.

Tap-ins

-- Roy Hodgson will move for free agent Rickie Lambert to boost Crystal Palace's survival bid, reports the Sun. The Eagles are pointless after six matches and lost Christian Benteke to injury at the weekend.

-- Liverpool have been alerted to Faouzi Ghoulam's contract standoff at Napoli and hope to bring the left-back to Anfield, claims the Daily Mail. The 26-year-old has been a regular in Serie A the past two seasons, helping Napoli to successive top-three finishes.

-- According to the Mirror, Aston Villa youngster Keinan Davis has been watched by Manchester United, Arsenal and Everton following his impressive performances in the Championship. The 19-year-old striker has scored two goals in seven appearances this season, forcing himself into Steve Bruce's first XI.
