Transfer Rater: Fernando Llorente to Chelsea, Grzegorz Krychowiak to WBA

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Gianelli Imbula to Toulouse

Moving to Stoke City was supposed to be the French midfielder's big break but it hasn't quite worked out at the bet365 stadium. And Toulouse are now challenging Torino for the 24-year-old's signature, according to French radio station RMC Sport. Also a Monaco transfer target, the former Marseille star, who was superb under Marcelo Bielsa in the south of France, will be hoping a return to Ligue 1 will help rekindle his form. Toulouse would prefer a loan deal with an option to buy, but the Potters are keen recoup as much of their £16 million outlay as possible.

Jota to Fulham

Brentford are standing firm after Middlesbrough had a £4.5m bid rejected for the Spanish winger and coach Dean Smith reiterated that nothing would happen unless clubs met their valuation of the 26-year-old. Fulham are keen to boost their squad but the Bees are holding out for around £8m and are not keen to sell him to a fellow Championship side. He is also a Newcastle United target and, having scored 12 goals and adding eight assists last term, is clear to see why he is so highly regarded.

Fernando Llorente to Chelsea

According to Spanish newspaper Diario AS, Swansea are ready to do business for the Spanish striker for around £15m. If the Swans finalise a return to the Liberty Stadium for Wilfried Bony, the Welsh side will talk to Chelsea regarding a deal. The Spanish paper claim the two clubs are very close to an agreement. Antonio Conte is eager to go into the new season with three strikers this term and, as Diego Costa's situation remains unresolved, the manager would like to be reunited with the forward he worked with at Juventus.

Dwight Gayle to Fulham

If Rafa Benitez can find a replacement, The Guardian report that the Spanish boss could let his 26-year-old striker leave St James' Park before the window closes. Fulham have made a £15m bid according to Sky Sports and the Englishman could be set to make the drop down to the Championship once again. In 66 Premier League appearances he has scored 15 times. In the second tier, Gayle has struck 36 in 61.

Grzegorz Krychowiak to West Brom

It looked like a great deal when Paris Saint-Germain picked up the Poland international from Sevilla last summer. He had helped Unai Emery win consecutive UEFA Europa League crowns and was set to return to France a better player than the one who left Stade de Reims. However, he wasn't given minutes on the pitch and never looked settled. After being linked with William Carvalho earlier in the window, the Baggies are in the market for a defensive midfielder. The 27-year-old ticks all the boxes and is a very good player if he can regain his confidence under Tony Pulis. Picking him up on loan is a risk free decision, if the Midlands club can get it over the line.
