Transfer Rater: Sergio Busquets to Man City, Danny Welbeck to Everton

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Ben Woodburn to Hannover 96

After impressing during Liverpool's preseason, Hannover 96 have shown interest in taking Woodburn on loan for the upcoming campaign. The Daily Mail report Liverpool would be reluctant to see the 17-year-old forward leave Anfield this summer, with Jurgen Klopp keen to monitor his progress closely. However, the Reds have travelled to the Bundesliga club to assess the conditions for possible loanees. Woodburn was named as academy Player of the Year last season and he scored last Saturday as Liverpool beat Athletic Bilbao 3-1 in Dublin.

Grant Leadbitter to Sunderland

After just 13 appearances in the Premier League last year, Leadbitter could be about to call time to his career at Middlesbrough. Simon Grayson is keen to bring the 31-year-old across the North East to Sunderland, according to The Sun, as the Mackems attempt to win promotion back to the top flight. He is Boro's club captain, but with one year left on his deal, it's unlikely he will feature in Garry Monk's plans. Leadbitter is a Black Cats fan and began his career at the club before moving to Ipswich Town in 2009.

Sergio Busquets to Manchester City

Busquets was one of Pep Guardiola's generals when the Manchester City boss found success at the Camp Nou. According to Spanish radio station Onda Cera, the Catalan boss has made enquiries about the availability of the Spain international. The 29-year-old is contracted until 2021 and Barcelona will be especially keen to hold on to other members of their starting XI after the departure of Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain. Pep needs an upgrade in central midfield and although Busquets would be perfect, it may be too difficult to prise him away from the Spanish giants.

Che Adams to Derby County

Gary Rowett orchestrated the £1.9 million move which saw Che Adams arrive at Birmingham from Sheffield United. Now at Derby, he wants him at Pride Park and the Birmingham Mail report he has already seen a £3m bid rejected from the Blues. The 21-year-old scored seven times and added six assists last season, his first in the Championship. But Harry Redknapp only has two fit forwards, so would be reluctant to see Adams depart.

Danny Welbeck to Everton

Ronald Koeman has done well to secure several top names already, but a Premier League class striker remains the Everton boss' priority. With the chances of landing Arsenal's Olivier Giroud fading, the Toffees' attention is turning to one of his teammates, say The Mirror. If the Frenchman doesn't arrive at Goodison Park, Everton will look to sign Danny Welbeck, with the English striker likely to cost around £30m.
