Transfer Rater: Serge Aurier and Sergi Roberto to Man United, Eric Dier to Bayern

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Serge Aurier to Manchester United

The Ivory Coast defender has been linked with a move to Manchester United for most of the summer and, after Dani Alves' arrival in Paris, his departure seems imminent. The only issue standing in the way is his pending court case. Aurier is appealing a two-month prison sentence for allegedly assaulting a police officer. If cleared he would be able to obtain a work-permit. According to The Telegraph, Chelsea have also shown an interest in the right-back, giving Jose Mourinho another issue to overcome to land his defensive target.

Sergi Roberto to Manchester United

Whether you class him as a defender or a midfielder, Barcelona are confident that Sergi Roberto won't be leaving the Nou Camp this summer. Luis Enrique preferred the Spaniard as a right-back but new boss Ernesto Valverde has played him through the middle in preseason. Mundo Deportivo report Manchester United have had a £36 million bid rejected and that there were two Premier League clubs showing interest. Chelsea are reported to be the other club, with Antonio Conte also looking for midfield options.

Moussa Sissoko to Trabzonspor

Turkish side Trabzonspor are reportedly trying to persuade Tottenham Hotspur to let them take Moussa Sissoko on loan for the season. "Sissoko is keen on joining, we have spoke with him and talks went well," vice-president Gencaga Meric told Turkish-Futbol. "We have yet to convince Tottenham or their manager. Tottenham want to recoup most of what they invested in Sissoko but we want him on loan." Arriving for £30m last summer, the Frenchman hasn't made any sort of impact in north London and Spurs would likely sell if they received a good offer.

Eric Dier to Bayern Munich

After being mooted as a Manchester United transfer target earlier in the window, Bayern Munich are now reportedly preparing a £50m bid for Spurs midfielder Eric Dier. Carlo Ancelotti apparently thinks the versatile Englishman would be keen on a move to the German giants, according to The Sun. Selling the 23-year-old would help Spurs in their pursuit of Everton's Ross Barkley as the club would have funds to sign the Toffees' star. But having not made any key signings, there would be huge pressure on Mauricio Pochettino if he let one of his stars leave before strengthening.

Mateo Kovacic to Juventus

According to Sky Sport Italia's Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus are looking at the possibility of adding Real Madrid's Mateo Kovacic to their midfield. Previously linked with PSG's Blaise Matuidi, Sevilla star Steven N'Zonzi and Liverpool's Emre Can, the Serie A champions have reportedly met with the player's entourage to try and facilitate a move. Still only 23, Juve have been following the Croatia international since his time at Inter Milan and now hope the promise of more first-team football could spark his return to Italy.
