Rumours rated: Nemanja Matic, Kylian Mbappe close in on transfers

With attention focusing on the summer transfer window, David Amoyal predicts how likely it is that these rumoured moves actually happen.

Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid: 70 percent

After the sales of Danilo and Alvaro Morata, Real Madrid have even more resources to acquire the talented striker. Zinedine Zidane recently mentioned that his squad had gotten weaker after the recent departures, and the French manager has also developed a close relationship with Mbappe's family. Real Madrid appear poised to break the transfer fee record by a significant margin by completing this deal. Should Monaco decide to keep Mbappe after all their recent high-profile departures, Real Madrid would likely pursue Kasper Dolberg and Andrea Belotti.

Nemanja Matic to Manchester United: 65 percent

Despite Juventus' interest, the Serbian midfielder likely will be reunited with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford. With the chances of landing Eric Dyer dwindling, Manchester United have become inclined to match Chelsea's asking price -- and Roman Abramovich appears willing to let Matic head to his preferred destination as a goodwill gesture. Considering Chelsea already signed Matic's replacement in Tiemoue Bakayoko, a deal is rather likely.

Paulo Dybala to Barcelona: 10 percent

With Neymar's potential transfer to Paris Saint-Germain gaining momentum, it's not surprising to see the rumours of Dybala replacing him at Barcelona resurface. Despite the reports from Spain, the Argentine striker doesn't have an exit clause in his contract valid only for Barcelona, or for any team for that matter. Juventus gave Dybala a significant raise last April, and after already cashing in on Leonardo Bonucci, they're expected to do all they can to keep the striker. Dybala would have to push for a transfer to play with Lionel Messi, and Barcelona would likely have to top the transfer fee Manchester United paid for Paul Pogba last summer for the move to happen.

Renato Sanches to Milan: 50 percent

After appearing in only 17 Bundesliga matches last season, the talented Portuguese midfielder is looking for an opportunity to play regularly. Sanches indicated that Milan would be an interesting option, and the Rossoneri could complete a deal on the basis of a two-year loan deal with option to buy -- a formula Bayern Munich used with Douglas Costa's transfer to Juventus. Carlo Ancelotti could help out his former club, while Sanches would end up playing for the same team as his idol Clarence Seedorf.

Emre Can to Juventus: 30 percent

The current Serie A champions continue to pursue players with expiring contracts in 2018, and after signing Wojciech Szczesny and Mattia De Sciglio they have set their sights on the German midfielder. Juventus have been in talks with Can's entourage and are banking on the fact he could leave on a free transfer next season as leverage in the negotiation, while Liverpool are confident they can sign Can to an extension and have no intention of selling him this summer unless they can somehow land Naby Keita. As an alternative to Can, Juventus have restarted talks to sign Blaise Matuidi.

Antonio Candreva to Chelsea: 25 percent

After they bolstered the defense, midfield and attack, it's not surprising to see Chelsea pursuing wingers. The Blues have been linked to Candreva dating back to his time at Lazio, and he would be an ideal fit in Antonio Conte's system as we saw in the last Euros; he also has the same agent as Chelsea's current manager. But a move to the Premier League isn't likely at this time because Inter could also lose their other starting winger, Ivan Perisic, to Manchester United, and last summer Candreva pushed to join the Nerazzurri over offers from abroad.

Riyad Mahrez to Roma: 35 percent

After welcoming Aleksandar Kolarov, the Giallorossi continue to shop in England. But sporting director Monchi has been told he must act quickly to sign the Algerian winger as there's interest from Premier League clubs, especially Arsenal who are struggling to close the deal with Monaco for Thomas Lemar. Leicester would however prefer to sell Mahrez abroad, and are willing to give Roma a discount on the asking price they are quoting to English clubs, but so far Monchi hasn't been willing to raise his offer above €30 million.

Arturo Vidal to Inter: 10 percent

Could Corentin Tolisso's arrival open the door for a return to Italy for the Chilean midfielder? While Inter are interested and ready to make a substantial offer, Bayern Munich want to keep Vidal and appear willing to give him an extension. On Thursday the two teams will face each other in a friendly; the match will give the Nerazzurri an opportunity to further assess the feasibility of Bayern accepting a loan with a forced option to buy for a total of €45 million to €50 million payable over two years. In the meantime, Inter are closing the deal for Matias Vecino, whose arrival would not preclude a further attempt to sign Vidal.

Giannelli Imbula to Nice: 40 percent

While Torino had come close to signing the defensive midfielder, they ultimately couldn't meet Stoke City's asking price. Galatasaray are also in the race to sign Imbula, but the player appears determined to return to Ligue 1 and play for manager Lucien Favre, who recently helped Mario Balotelli get his career back on track. As far as financing the move, Nice will have a better idea as to how much they can invest on the transfer market after they play in the preliminary round of the Champions League.

Marco Verratti to Manchester United: 10 percent

The Italian midfielder's decision to replace longtime agent Donato Di Campli with Mino Raiola reignited the rumours linking him to Manchester United. While it's certainly true Raiola has done a lot of business with the Red Devils, most recently with Romelu Lukaku's transfer, it's far from certain that Verratti will leave PSG. Two of Raiola's clients, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Blaise Matuidi, weren't allowed to leave the French side in previous summers despite wanting to join new teams, and Verratti seems set on joining Barcelona if he were allowed to leave France's capital.
