Transfer Rater: Fabinho to Man United, Fernando Llorente to Chelsea

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for the latest gossip.

Fabinho to Manchester United 3.8

Italian journalist Emanuele Giulianelli believes United are days away from signing Fabinho, who is said to be a long-term transfer target. The versatile 23-year-old has been linked to a number of clubs, including Juventus. However, in a recent interview Giulianelli claimed he'll end up at Old Trafford.

Matthias Ginter to Tottenham 3.5

German newspaper Bild claim Spurs have made a £15 million move for Borussia Dortmund utility man Ginter. The 23-year-old is away with his national team for the Confederations Cup but upon his return, negotiations are set to go into overdrive. The former Freiburg defender has been linked with a move away from the Westfalenstadion for many months now. He was a Liverpool transfer target earlier on in the season before Bundesliga rivals Hoffenheim made their interest known.

Javi Martinez to Manchester City 3.1

According to BT Sport journalist Anthony Harris, who largely covers City, Martinez and Dani Alves are booked in to have their medicals on the same day. It would imply that the versatile Bayern Munich man is close to a move to England, and that fees and contract terms are already agreed. After ending their interest in Virgil van Dijk, Pep Guardiola has been searching for a centre-back and reuniting with the multi-functional Bayern man solves a number of issues.

Fernando Llorente to Chelsea 2.9

According to a report in The Times, Michy Batshuayi will be allowed to leave Stamford Bridge on a temporary basis with the club reigniting their interest in Swansea City striker Fernando Llorente. The Spanish forward, who worked with Antonio Conte at Juventus, was linked with a move to Chelsea throughout January but nothing materialised. He is thought to be the preferred choice to fill the back-up striker position with Romelu Lukaku set to replace the departing Diego Costa as first choice.

Kevin Kampl to AC Milan 2.1

Kampl has already told Bayer Leverkusen he intends to leave this summer and China was the rumoured destination, with the opportunity to join up with former manager Roger Schmidt a tempting one. However, Kicker now claim AC MIlan are interested in the midfielder and have made enquiries as to whether the 26-year-old had any aspirations to play in Serie A.
