Transfer Rater: Rafinha to Liverpool in Barcelona swap for Philippe Coutinho

Things change in the blink of an eye in football. The Football Whispers Index takes the latest transfer rumours and gives them a score out of five; the higher the score, the more realistic and reliable the whisper.

Here are today's top five emerging whispers for the summer. And keep an eye on Transfer Talk for all the latest gossip.

Denis Suarez to Tottenham Hotspur

Denis Suarez's lack of playing time at Barcelona this season has alerted a number of clubs around Europe to his potential availability, according to TalkSport. Tottenham had been tracking the 23-year-old midfielder while he was at Villarreal, and are reportedly again interested in bringing Suarez to north London -- though they will face competition from rivals Arsenal, as well as Italian giants Napoli and Roma. Since returning to Camp Nou in a £2.5 million deal last summer the Spaniard has made 26 appearances in La Liga -- mostly from the bench -- scoring one goal and providing three assists.

Rafinha to Liverpool

To aid their pursuit of long-term target Philippe Coutinho, Barcelona are prepared to offer Liverpool 24-year-old attacking midfielder Rafinha as part of a player-plus-cash deal, according to Spanish outlet Don Balon. The Brazilian has scored six goals and provided two assists in 18 league appearances for the Blaugrana this season, but the player is reportedly unhappy with the amount of minutes he has played and would be open to a move. The Catalan giants are keen to overhaul their squad this summer but will have to sell players if they are to raise the funds for big transfers. A part-exchange deal for the £76m-rated Coutinho would be more achievable for the club.

Kyle Walker to Manchester City

Manchester City continue to be linked with Spurs full-back Kyle Walker as Pep Guardiola looks for replacements for the ageing Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna and Gael Clichy. The Daily Mail reports that City will battle newly-crowned champions Chelsea for the player's signature, with the bidding war expected to raise the transfer fee above Walker's £40m valuation. The 26-year-old is contracted to Tottenham until 2021, but both Chelsea and City would significantly improve his wages, something Daniel Levy is not prepared to do.

Abdul Rahman Baba to Everton

Everton have made an enquiry into the availability of Chelsea left-back Abdul Rahman Baba, according to the Daily Mail. The 22-year-old -- who can also play on the left of midfield -- damaged his cruciate ligaments in January at the African Nations Cup, but up to that point had been on loan with Schalke. The Ghana international join Chelsea from Augsburg in 2015 but failed to establish himself in Jose Mourinho's first-team plans, before falling further down the pecking order following the signing of Marcos Alonso.

Tammy Abraham to Brighton

Chelsea's young forward Tammy Abraham will seek a move away from Stamford Bridge if Antonio Conte is unable to offer him first-team football next season, according to The Sun. The 19-year-old has spent the season on loan with Bristol City, scoring 23 goals in 41 appearances for the Championship side. Brighton are interested in Abraham, with Chris Hughton keen to add quality and depth to his squad to ensure the newly-promoted side are able to compete in the Premier League next year.
