At the request of Antoine Griezmann, the entire France squad may soon be receiving diamond-encrusted mementos of their World Cup triumph.
After being contacted by Griezmann, a jeweller in Los Angeles created a prototype design for a "Superbowl winners" ring, complete with red, white and blue gems and the French Football Federation (FFF) crest rendered in gold.
The Atletico Madrid striker is a huge fan of American sports and is reportedly keen to furnish himself with an NFL/NBA style trinket to celebrate France being crowned Champions du Monde earlier this month.

According to RMC Sport, the jeweller then sent the proposed design to the FFF directly along with a commercial proposal, though no known response has been forthcoming as of yet.
However, should the FFF decline, the jewellers have confirmed that Les Bleus players -- several of whom have apparently shown an interest -- will be able to purchase the rings out of their own pocket.
