Sweden shirts sell out after unexpected World Cup quarterfinal run

With Sweden looking to reach their first World Cup semifinal since 1994, love for the national team could hardly be more fervent at the moment.

Indeed, it looks like the euphoria surrounding Andreas Granqvist and his cohorts has rather caught kit suppliers Adidas off guard with the recent announcement that all Sweden replica shirts have now completely sold out.

Supplies of both the 2018 home and away jerseys have been exhausted, with a spokesperson for the brand confirming to Swedish tabloid Aftonbladet that further stock is unlikely to be available before the end of the tournament.

However, there is one small glimmer of hope as there are a dwindling number of home shirts available from the Adidas Sweden website -- but we're talking about a mere handful of extra-small adult sizes.

"They've run out because it has gone well for Sweden -- it has almost gone too well," Adidas explained in a statement.

It sounds like England can expect to be faced with a wall of yellow and blue when the two teams meet in Samara on Saturday afternoon.
