Kyle Walker offers to pay for England fan's John Stones tattoo after Panama demolition

An England fan has a bargain to uphold after making a bold wager ahead of Sunday's World Cup group match against Panama.

Jess promised to get a tattoo of John Stones if the central defender managed to get himself on the score sheet in Nizhny Novgorod.

Sure enough, Stones found the net not once, but twice in the Three Lions' 6-1 demolition of Panama.

Having caught wind of Jess' bet before kickoff, the Manchester City player even recorded her a special personal video message after the game.

Realising she now had to keep up her end of the deal, Jess made a plaintive plea on Twitter for donations towards her impending body art.

Thankfully, a hero soon stepped forth and offered to pay for the tattoo -- and that man was none other than Kyle Walker, Stones' teammate for both club and county.

Lovely stuff.

Now we wait patiently with baited breathe for photographic evidence of the wager being completed to emerge. We may have to wait a while, though, as Jess' account seems to have disappeared, along with the tweets.
