An Italian journalist is facing a 500-mile trek after losing a brash bet he made live on television earlier this week.
Appearing on Sportitalia on Monday night, Giancarlo Padovan was asked for his views on the rumours linking Carlo Ancelotti to Napoli.
"If Ancelotti accepts [Napoli president Aurelio] De Laurentiis' offer to coach Napoli, I will walk all the way from Milan to Naples," Padovan remarked.

Sure enough, two days later Ancelotti signed a two-year deal to take over from Maurizio Sarri at the Partenopei, leaving Padovan with a rather substantial bargain to uphold.
