Bolton secured their Championship survival in dramatic fashion on Sunday afternoon when two goals in the final three minutes of their last match of the season saw the Wanderers leapfrog up and out of the relegation zone.
With spirits were high in the aftermath of the 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest, Bolton defender Mark Little gave his jacket away to a fan to take home as a souvenir.
Unfortunately, it wasn't until later that Little realised he'd left his wallet and wedding ring in the jacket -- leading to a rather embarrassing plea on social media.
For the fan i gave my jacket to. Your welcome to it but i need my wallet and wedding ring 😅??? #findlittswallet

Amazingly enough, the wallet was found and returned to Little later that very same day, with the 29-year-old right-back sharing a photo to confirm as such.
Its just a great day!!! #littlesfoundhiswallet la la laaaa la!! pic.twitter.com/kPSeWdjlhZ

According to BBC Sport, the all-important ring was also tracked down via a Bolton supporters group on Facebook, with Little set to be reunited with his jewellery on Monday at some point.
Let that be an important lesson to us all: always check your pockets before giving your clothes away to complete strangers.
