Brechin fail to win a single game all season, making Scottish history

No team in Scotland has gone through a season winless since 1891-92, when Vale of Leven went into the record books. Some 126 years later, they have company.

That's because Scottish Championship side Brechin City have accomplished the ignominious feat this season.

After being promoted to the Scottish second division, Brechin went 36 matches without picking up a single victory, and are now set for a quick return to League One.

May a return to eight-hour round trips to third-tier Stranraer coincide with a return to winning ways.
