While he may have missed the match itself through injury, Benjamin Mendy certainly got fully involved with the festivities after Man City beat Arsenal to lift the Carabao Cup at Wembley.
After supporting his "shark team" from the sidelines during the 3-0 victory, Mendy sprang forth from the dugout to play a central role in City's celebrations.
The French full-back then gave victorious captain Vincent Kompany a loving glance while photo-bombing his post-match interview.
He then gate-crashed Kyle Walker and Kevin De Bruyne's interview by attacking the pair with gold and silver tinsel.

The tinsel torment then continued as Bernando Silva suffered the same fate.

Thankfully, things gradually began to calm down as Mendy was able to grab a quiet moment with his "new girlfriend" alone in the dressing room.
Mendy has been out of action since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury back in September but his recovery seems to be ahead of schedule,
Indeed, recent reports suggest that the 23-year-old is scheduled to return to training in three weeks' time and back to full fitness in time for the Champions League semifinals, should City advance that far.
