There are birthday cakes, and then there are birthday cakes.
Federico Bernardeschi certainly found the right one when celebrating his 24th birthday on Friday, posing with a three-tiered, appropriately striped black-and-white cake -- one topped off by cupcakes, a pair of ceramic bulldogs and, naturally, a trio of fireworks.
"Happy birthday to me!" Bernardeschi wrote, preferring to let the cake speak for itself.
The Juventus winger appeared delighted by it all, posing with the cake inside a dining room with an ancient Rome motif.
Here's to thinking that something appearing that delicious didn't stand a similar test of time.
