Prince Harry, Meghan Markle's royal wedding time avoids FA Cup final clash

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle raised more than a few quizzical eyebrows when, back in December, they announced to the world that they plan to marry at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.

This meant that the royal wedding would clash directly with the 2018 FA Cup final, due to take place at Wembley on the very same day -- a particular quandary for Harry's brother, Prince William, who as well as being best man, is also the president of the Football Association.

However, it has since been confirmed that the wedding ceremony will take place at 12 p.m., giving the Duke of Cambridge plenty of time to make it to North-West London for the expected 5:30 p.m. kick-off.

Windsor Castle is less than 30 miles from Wembley and the drive should take no more than an hour, traffic depending. If time is tight, don't rule out a royal escort clearing the route for the in-demand heir to the throne.

Phew.
