With Star Wars very much the theme du jour in football at the moment, French side Stade Rennais staged an outstanding intergalactic tifo before their big match against Paris Saint-Germain on Saturday. As well as a giant Darth Vader banner, the impressively detailed effort even saw the ominous tones of "The Imperial March" being piped into the stadium via the speaker system before kickoff. Sadly, things didn't really go to plan for Rennes from that point onward, as Sabri Lamouchi's team eventually succumbed to a crushing 4-1 home defeat. It turns out the Force wasn't actually with them after all.
