Flamengo duo Felipe Vizeu and Rhodolfo clash in Corinthians match

Things are rarely dull in the Brazilian top flight, and last weekend the feisty entertainment was provided by Flamengo duo Felipe Vizeu and Rhodolfo, who spent the majority of their side's game against Corinthians at loggerheads.

The pair engaged in an ill-tempered feud which began when Flamengo conceced a chance in their own 18-yard box, which culminated in Vizeu and Rhodolfo butting heads.

The agitated players were quickly separated by their teammates but the bad blood didn't stop there.

Indeed, the hostilities came to the fore shortly thereafter when Vizeu scored, only to celebrate by giving Rhodolfo a particularly unsavoury salute.

Thankfully, the pair appeared to have squared things up by full-time, with Vizeu assuring Esporte Interativo reporters that he'd apologised to Rhodolfo and that the argument was simply "natural and spontaneous".

The fact that Flamengo also stormed to a comprehensive 3-0 victory might have also played a significant part in the postmatch reparations.
