CAF Champions League hopefuls Al Ahly watched by too many fans

With an CAF (African) Champions League final coming up this weekend, Egyptian side Al Ahly had their preparations thrown off when the club's Tuesday training session had to be cancelled.

This was due to the thousands of fans who flocked to the Mokhtar El-Tetsh Stadium in Cairo to watch their heroes go through their paces.

Indeed, so many supporters descended on the session that they quickly spilled out from the stands and on to the perimeter of the pitch.

With the first leg against Wydad Casablanca finishing 1-1 last weekend, the CAF Champions League final is finely poised, with Al Ahly due to fly out to Morocco on Wednesday.

However, the club have since rearranged their postponed training session for Wednesday morning, thus likely derailing their prematch plans even further.

What a palaver.
