Nikola Boranijasevic's super quick red card in Napredak vs. Partizan

Napredak managed to grind out a 1-1 draw against Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian Superliga on Wednesday night despite having to play the majority of the match with ten men.

This was because defender Nikola Boranijasevic managed to pick up two lightning fast yellow cards in the space of seven seconds with less than half-an-hour on the clock.

Indeed, Boranijasevic was first cautioned for taking too long over a throw-in. He then hurled the ball away in disgust, only to find himself on the wrong end of a second booking for dissent.

That must surely rank as one of the most unnecessary red cards we've seen in a good long while.

Despite being a man down, Napredak went 1-0 up two minutes before half-time only to eventually be pegged back at the death when Partizan mustered a dramatic equaliser in the 96th minute.
