However, the German winger stayed put in Paris and even celebrated his 24th birthday on Wednesday with a special party that included a gigantic PSG-themed birthday cake.
And when we say gigantic, we mean gigantic.
With a beaming smile, birthday balloons and a cake the size of a small family car, Draxler hardly has the look of a man who has one eye on the exit door.
The forward will be hoping to make his sixth appearance of the season when PSG take on Montpellier in Ligue 1 this weekend.
