Man United stars Pogba, Carrick, Lingard, Lindelof have graffiti fun

With no fixtures until the weekend, Manchester United kept themselves occupied with a little extra curricular fun at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening.

The club staged an art exhibition alongside sponsors Tag Heuer that saw Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick, Chris Smalling and Jese Lingard rub shoulders with graffiti artist Alec Monopoly as a series of new murals were unveiled at the Theatre of Dreams.

Wearing red bandanas, the players lined up alongside Mr. Monopoly as he proudly posed in front of his handiwork.

As well as the main event, the artist also allowed the United stars to have a go at tagging their own replica shirts with spray paint.

Lingard also took the opportunity to have Monopoly customise a pair of his bright white trainers.

As for Monopoly's "Don't Crack Under Pressure" installation, the mural is set to remain on display outside United's stadium for the foreseeable future.

"I am a huge football fan and above all a fan of Manchester United. I came to watch the match incognito on Sunday, to soak up the atmosphere and see the fans," Alec told FC Business.

"Being able to make a mark on the wall of this mythical stadium with the players was really enjoyable.

"It was surreal seeing the players wearing their bandanas and painting with me."
