Manchester United and Real Madrid played out a 1-1 draw inside 90 minutes at the Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Sunday, with Jesse Lingard scoring the only goal for the former.
The friendly was subsequently settled on penalties, with United just about managing to pip Real Madrid 2-1 in the laughably low-scoring shootout.
At training the following day, Lingard gave an interview to MUTV in which he was asked to assess his side's performance.
After loitering in the background for several seconds, it wasn't long before Jose Mourinho interjected.

"What did he say?" said Mourinho in a mock-gruff tone, eyebrow arched.
"He scores one goal and gives an interview," the United boss continued before playfully throttling Lingard and walking away.
Whether or not that counts as good man-management, we'll leave it to you to decide.
