Tottenham's Harry Kane misses out on EA Sports' FIFA TOTW despite 7 goals

Harry Kane was understandably upset after being left out of EA Sports' FIFA Team of the Week, despite scoring seven times.

The Tottenham striker bagged four goals against Leicester in a 6-1 win and a hat-trick in the 7-1 win at Hull three days later to win a second consecutive Premier League Golden Boot.

But the 23-year-old's exploits were not enough to earn him a spot in EA Sports' team, with teammate Son Heung-Min, Manchester City's Sergio Aguero, Lyon forward Alexandre Lacazette and Borussia Dortmund's Marco Reus all chosen ahead of him.

His omission prompted a baffled response from goal-machine Kane, who tweeted:

However, Kane quickly forgave EA Sports when it was pointed out that his 29 goals in 30 league games had earned him a team of the season card instead...

For the record, Kane's career goal record for Spurs now stands at 78 from 101 starts and 12 substitute appearances in the Premier League.
