Egypt belly dance in dressing room after AFCON success

Thanks to a heroic performance from the oldest player at the tournament, Egypt squeaked through to the final of the African Nations Cup in midweek, courtesy of a shootout victory over Burkina Faso in the semis.

Indeed, it was veteran 44-year-old goalkeeper Essam Al-Hadary who saved the decisive spot-kick to earn The Pharaohs their first final berth since they last won the AFCON title back in 2010.

Of course, the entire squad celebrated accordingly, with footage subsequently emerging of several Egyptian players enjoying a postmatch belly dance in the dressing room.

If you can't belly dance after reaching a major international final, then when can you belly dance?

Egypt will now play Cameroon in the grand final on Sunday night as they seek to secure a record-extending eighth tournament title.
