Cristiano Ronaldo to leave Real Madrid for Juventus: Key numbers

Cristiano Ronaldo is set to join Juventus from Real Madrid. After nine years at the Bernabeu, the Portuguese superstar is Italy-bound, as he will join the seven-time defending Serie A champions.

Ronaldo leaves Madrid as the club's all-time leading scorer, with 450 goals in 438 games. He also won the Champions League four times, three FIFA Club World Cups and two La Liga titles, as well as the Copa del Rey and Spanish Super Cup twice apiece.

Could Ronaldo's exit spark further changes for the European champions, who have also lost Zinedine Zidane as manager? Whatever happens, Madrid must replace the goals Ronaldo has scored so consistently.

If you can't beat him, buy him! Ronaldo and Real Madrid ended Juventus' Champions League hopes in each of the past two seasons, including in the 2017 final, when he scored twice in a 4-1 victory.

Ronaldo scored 105 Champions League goals for Madrid -- only six clubs scored more over the same period! -- and has either led or shared the lead in scoring for each of the last six seasons.

Ronaldo could make his Juventus debut on the club's preseason tour of the United States, which features game against Bayern Munich (July 25), Benfica (July 28), MLS All-Stars (Aug. 1) and former club Real Madrid (Aug. 4).
