As we hurtle towards the final week of the transfer window, here are five hot transfer angles to keep an eye on this week.

Which of these deals are boiling over, and which are bubbling under?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang kicked off this Bundesliga season as he ended the last, with goals, as he found the net in Borussia Dortmund's opener this week.

It's been a frustrating summer for the Gabon hitman, who reaffirmed his desire to leave BVB on Sunday.

Chelsea have been linked to the forward's signature, but after last week's come-and-get-me plea to AC Milan, a return to the San Siro has begun to look like the most likely option for the reigning Bundesliga top scorer.

Jean Seri has been linked with a move away from OGC Nice for much of the summer after playing an influential role in Les Aiglons' magnificent season last term.

He's a superb playmaker when operating in a sitting role in front of the defence, while he can also contribute dynamism between the lines.

These qualities have prompted interest from Barcelona, who are expected to complete a £36 million move for Seri this week.

Negotiations between player and club have already started - according to The Guardian - although Barca and Nice are yet to agree terms on how the fee for the Ivory Coast international will be structured.

Riyad Mahrez has been widely praised for letting his feet do the talking as he looks to secure a move away from Leicester City - an approach which comes in contrast to the likes of Philippe Coutinho and Virgil van Dijk.

He excelled as the Foxes defeated Brighton and Hove Albion at the weekend, showing glimpses of the quality that inspired the East Midlanders to a miraculous Premier League title in 2016.

Mahrez's superb performance against the Seagulls was exactly the kind of performance that should remind potential suitors - of whom AS Roma have appeared the most persistent - of his qualities.

Oumar Niasse has had a miserable time of things in the Premier League since joining Everton from Lokomotiv Moscow during Roberto Martinez's tenure.

Immediately dismissed by Ronald Koeman, he demonstrated his qualities on loan at Hull City, when he scored four goals as the Tigers dropped out of the top flight.

He's wholly failed to repay the £13.5 million that the Toffees paid to sign him in January 2016, but salvation may be in sight in the form of a move to the Super Lig.

According to Turkish site Fotospor - as per the Liverpool Echo - Fenerbahce are poised to sign the Senegal international, who has also been linked with a move to Brighton.

Keita Balde: Yet again, tensions are bubbling over between Balde and his club Lazio.

The Senegal forward was absent as the capital club were held by Serie A new boys SPAL 2013 in their Italian top flight opener, and his future remains uncertain as he enters the final year of his contract.

His agent stated last week that the attacker is "exasperated" by life at Lazio, according to The Sun, and with Juventus, Internazionale, AC Milan, West Ham United, Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool just some of the clubs linked to his signature, he doesn't have any shortage of options.

While Lazio chief Claudio Lotito has been bullish in his insistence that Balde won't be sold on the cheap, something surely has to give as we hurtle towards the final week of the window.
