Hosts Rwanda collected a 2-1 win over Gabon in the teams' second African Nations Championship Group A match on Wednesday.
Ernest Sugira scored on either side of half-time to give the Rwandans the three points, while Aaron Salem Boupendza bagged a consolation strike for Gabon in the 55th minute.
Rwanda are a perfect two wins from two games thus far in the tournament.
Meanwhile, Ivory Coast edged past Morocco 1-0 thanks to a Krahire Zakri penalty.
Zakri stepped up just before the break, slotting in from the spot to give the Ivorians their first victory of the tournament.
