Fantasy football mock draft: 12-team PPR

With Aaron Rodgers healthy and Jordy Nelson gone, wide receiver Davante Adams is poised for a big 2018. Isaiah J. Downing/USA TODAY Sports

The long wait is almost over -- the NFL kicks off in a matter of days, which means we'll finally see some fresh fantasy football stats! In the meantime, there will be a gazillion people taking part in fantasy drafts over Labor Day weekend, and we want you to be up to date with recent trends, so we have one last mock draft for you to peruse.

Of note is that there is a little more weight to this draft because it is our ESPN Fantasy staff writers league. That means this is an actual league that will be played out and be worth the most important reward of all: bragging rights. This is a 12-team, PPR format with rosters that start three wide receivers (1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 D/ST, 1 K, 1 Flex, 6 Bench, 1 IR).

You can check out all of our various preseason mock drafts in the Draft Kit, so you can see how player and position values differ between this format and others. And you can view our analysts' PPR rankings here.

The participants, in order of draft position, were Field Yates, Matthew Berry, Eric Karabell, KC Joyner, Tim Hasselbeck, Matt Bowen, Ken Daube, Stephania Bell, Tristan H. Cockcroft, Anita Marks, Mike Clay and Jim McCormick.
