ESPN takes a look at some of the best and quirkiest stats to come out of the French Grand Prix.
Lewis Hamilton took full advantage of Mercedes' most recent engine upgrade to win the first grand prix in France since 2008 and regain the drivers' championship lead. Title rival Sebastian Vettel was forced into a recovery drive to fifth place after making contact with Valtteri Bottas on the opening lap which forced the pair into early pit stops.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen scored his third podium in four races by taking the chequered flag second ahead of Kimi Raikkonen in third.
Stat focus: Hamilton sets new race win records
The average person will likely get nowhere near travelling to 23 countries in their lifetime, let alone win a Formula One grand prix in each one.
Amazingly, Hamilton's lights-to-flag victory on Sunday in France marked the 23rd different country he has won a race in during his career - comfortably more than any other driver in history.
It means he has won a grand prix in 11.8 percent of the world's countries as well as on five of the seven continents. Pretty impressive considering we're unlikely to see a race in Antarctica anytime soon...
Victory in France also saw Hamilton surpass Michael Schumacher's mark of different grand prix victories of which the Mercedes driver now has 23.
Hamilton also edges out Schumacher in terms of wins at different race tracks (26), pole positions at different grands prix (25) and pole positions at different circuits (27).
Something you probably didn't know
Everyone is well aware that it's been a long while since Kimi Raikkonen's last race win -- 102 races to be exact -- but did you know he has scored a staggering 25 podiums during that winless run which began after the 2013 Australian Grand Prix?
That is now the new record for the most podiums in a stretch without a victory in Formula One history. So what else has happened during that time?
Hamilton has won 44 races and claimed pole position 48 times.
Ferrari has won 13 races and scored 2,102 world championship points.
Fernando Alonso has suffered 28 DNFs (3 with Ferrari, 25 with McLaren).
13 of the 22 drivers who raced at the 2013 Australian Grand Prix are no longer in Formula One.
